Hi, I'm Ellie Carson, a self-taught cook from Asheville, North Carolina. I started cooking in my twenties, not out of passion at first but because I was broke and tired of frozen dinners. My first dish was a disaster, but something about creating a meal from scratch lit a fire in me.
